What is in the full practice test
The NASCLA practice test contains 100 questions covering all fourteen chapters and the glossary. Every question carries an answer key entry and a reference locator, the same as the ten above. Content-area summaries and concept highlight sheets sit ahead of the questions, so you review the key ideas before testing yourself. It is a PDF you download straight after checkout and keep, with no subscription and no time limit on access.
Our state and trade practice tests follow this same format. Each one is built from the reference books named in that exam’s bulletin, and the questions track the content areas the licensing board publishes.
How to use it
Take the test cold and look nothing up. Mark every question you got wrong, and every question you guessed right, because a lucky guess is still a gap. Work through that list using the reference locators and read the source sections in your code book. Retake the test a few days later. Your score matters less than the shrinking list of sections you still have to read.
